“La musica fa crescere i pomodori”, tappa a Fasano del libro in concerto del direttore d’orchestra accompagnato da “I Solisti del Sesto Armonico”
FASANO – Le mucche che ascoltano Mozart producono più latte, l’effetto contrario lo provocano invece il jazz e Wagner. Questo studio eseguito anni fa nel Wisconsin diventa per Beppe Vessicchio, noto direttore d’orchestra, l’epifania che gli ha permesso di conoscere l’essenza della musica che lo ha consacrato al grande pubblico. E ieri, nel secondo appuntamento della stagione di prosa promossa dal Comune di Fasano e dal Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, ha portato in scena al Teatro Kennedy il suo libro “La musica fa crescere i pomodori” insieme a “I Solisti del Sesto Armonico”, con la partecipazione delle cantanti Giacinta Nicotra e Rosa Martirano. Questo lavoro, realizzato a quattro mani con Angelo Carotenuto ed edito Rizzoli, racconta la musica armonico-naturale, quella realmente cercata da Vessicchio anche a dispetto delle tendenze del momento che sacrificano le produzioni migliori. La buona musica è capace di restituire coerenza a chi la ascolta e, può trattarsi di una pianta, di animali o di uomini, è un rituale magico in grado di riconciliare. Beppe Vessicchio scopre la musica da bambino, stando di fronte alla porta chiusa della stanza del fratello maggiore, un incontro fortunato che assomiglia a un processo iniziatico: il maestro le si avvicina con discrezione, con lo stesso garbo con cui si maneggiano le cose più preziose. È stato anche uno studente di architettura che d’altronde, parafrasando Goethe, è musica congelata. La sua carriera è un esempio di eclettismo musicale e di incontri, diventando il volto più atteso del Festival di Sanremo capace di catalizzare l’attenzione del pubblico a casa e dei social.
Vessicchio è una icona della musica italiana e ieri ne ha permesso l’ascolto di alcune delle pagine più belle, da Ennio Morricone alle melodie festivaliere, senza rinunciare ai riferimenti a Chopin e John Williams. Brillanti gli aneddoti su quello che ha definito “il Sanremo più divertente”, anno 1996 con Elio e Le Storie Tese in gara, e lo sguardo gentile su temi complessi come l’attuale abuso di plastica, o la Shoah attraverso l’esecuzione della colonna sonora di Schindler’s list (John Williams), mentre l’artista Simona Gandola realizzava in contemporanea sul palco una tavola con la sabbia. Con la Sand Art, una tecnica di illustrazione estremamente versatile, ha rapito il pubblico ipnotizzato dal movimento delle sue mani sul tavolo e dalle suggestioni create dai granelli di sabbia. “I Solisti del Sesto Armonico” Gennaro Desiderio (primo violino), Zita Mucsi (secondo violino), Nico Ciricugno (viola), Zsuzsanna Krasznai (violoncello), Igor Barbaro (contrabbasso), Pierpaolo Bisogno (percussioni) e Toni Loderini (fisarmonica). Alessandro Tomei (sax), Fabio Gianolla (fagotto), Angela Cosi (arpa) e Beppe Vessicchio hanno chiuso lo spettacolo con “Libertango” di Astor Piazzolla, mentre Simona Gandoni omaggiava Fasano con una raffigurazione del Palazzo di Città e del Torrione di via San Francesco.
Il prossimo appuntamento è al Teatro Kennedy con “Frame” il 31 gennaio.
