L’annuncio mentre la Camera dei Deputati votava lo scostamento di Bilancio. Il Governo starebbe valutando misure ancora più restrittive
ITALIA – Non lascia dubbi la chiarazione di Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, capo dell’OMS (Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità): la diffusione da virus Covid-19 è una pandemia ed è la prima pandemia da Coronavirus.
L’OMS ha valutato questa epidemia giorno dopo giorno e “siamo profondamente preoccupati – dice Ghebreyesus – sia dai livelli allarmanti di diffusione e gravità, sia dai livelli allarmanti di inazione. Siamo incoraggiati dalle misure aggressive adottate dall’Italia, speriamo che abbiano effetti nei prossimi giorni”, aveva aggiunto Ghebreyesus nel briefing da Ginevra sull’epidemia.
“Abbiamo stanziato una somma straordinaria 25 miliardi da non utilizzare subito ma sicuramente da poter utilizzare per far fronte a tutte le difficoltà di quest’emergenza“, ha annunciato il premier Giuseppe Conte in conferenza stampa al termine del Cdm di questa mattina. “Sono lieti del clima che si sta definendo a livello europeo”, ha aggiunto.
E non è escluso che nelle prossime ore, anche a seguito dell’annuncio dell’OMS, possano giungere ulteriori misure ancora più restrittive. Intanto poco fa, la Camera dei Deputati, ha dato il via libera allo scostamento di Bilancio per affrontare l’emergenza.
