Insegnante di musica e sostegno presso la scuola secondaria di primo grado “Mario Montanari” di Ravenna.
FASANO – Il Global Teacher Prize è stato fondato per riconoscere i meriti di un insegnante ‘eccezionale’, che abbia dato un contributo notevole alla professione e nel contempo abbia messo in luce il ruolo fondamentale rivestito dagli insegnanti nella società. Per l’edizione 2020, tra gli otto insegnanti premiati come migliori d’Italia c’è un prof di origini fasanesi: Annibale Guarini insegnante di musica e sostegno presso la scuola secondaria di primo grado “Mario Montanari” di Ravenna.
Guarini è stato tra i 20 finalisti del Global Teacher Prize 2020 della Varkey Foundation che punta i riflettori sull’eccezionale lavoro svolto da milioni di insegnanti nel mondo. E’ stato selezionato dalla giuria di Atlante Teacher Award tra i 20 migliori docenti d’Italia, valutati in base a progetti che dovevano rispondere a criteri di innovazione didattica, originalità, incidenza sul tessuto scolastico, integrazione di studenti in situazioni di difficoltà e replicabilità. Ad una seconda selezione, Guarini è stato invitato a Roma risultando fra gli otto finalisti del concorso, recevendo la menzione d’onore.
Docente con preparazione nell’ambito musicale (oboista), di origini fasanesi vive a Ravenna.
Da dieci anni il suo far scuola è affiancato dalla didattica laboratoriale,: insegna a riparare e restaurare biciclette e motorini ai suoi alunni, mettendo in relazione le discipline con il lavoro svolto all’interno del laboratorio.
Nello specifico il laboratorio “Ricicletta” del prof Guarini, ripara gratuitamente le biciclette degli alunni della scuola attraverso il lavoro degli stessi, restaura vecchi rottami a due ruote (offerti da privati o enti esterni) per essere donati successivamente come biciclette nuove a ragazzi poco abbienti. Vi è addirittura un reparto customizing dove vengono realizzate biciclette adattate alle necessità fisiche degli alunni in condizione di disabilità, attraverso lavori di ideazione, saldatura, fresatura. Inoltre la didattica del laboratorio incrocia le tematiche del rispetto per l’ambiente, della mobilità sostenibile e del contrasto al bullismo.
Tutti gli anni, in collaborazione con l’Osservatorio Regionale per l’educazione stradale, l’Ufficio scolastico regionale e la polizia municipale, il laboratorio organizza una ciclo passeggiata scuola – famiglia per le strade di Ravenna, portando alla cittadinanza messaggi relativi alla buona educazione stradale e ambientale.
