La nota dei due consiglieri comunali
FASANO – “Le intense precipitazioni che hanno interessato il territorio di Fasano il 7 e 23 Settembre hanno messo in ginocchio la nostra Città. Le immagini di Via Costa a Pezze di Greco, di Torre Canne e Pozzo Faceto, maggiormente interessate dal deflusso delle acque meteoriche che dalla collina porta al mare, non possono lasciare indifferenti nessuno”. Sono le parole dei consiglieri comunali Raffaele Trisciuzzi e Maria Rosaria Olive.
“I danni alle abitazioni, alle auto, alle attività commerciali e a tutto il comparto agricolo e produttivo – proseguono – sono ingenti ed evidenti, così come non risulta tollerabile ai cittadini colpiti dalla calamità il costante rischio e la paura cui sono sottoposti ogni qualvolta vi siano piogge di media o grave intensità.
Ad oggi gli interventi di regimentazione idraulica e quelli di sostegno economico alla città risultano insufficienti a contenere il rischio e i danni i nostri concittadini.
E’ il momento di aprire un dibattito sullo stato dell’arte e sugli interventi in cantiere, immediati e concreti, passati, presenti e futuri per restituire serenità e fiducia ai cittadini, proprio in queste ore in preda alla disperazione e all’esasperazione.
Visto il grave stato di emergenza in cui versa il territorio, atteso che siamo solo all’inizio della stagione autunnale solitamente interessata da questi gravi eventi metereologici, abbiamo protocollato al Sindaco una Mozione Urgente, per discutere un Consiglio Comunale Aperto e Monotematico. Lo scopo è assicurare la massima partecipazione della cittadinanza, della Protezione Civile, degli organi regionali e comunali preposti alla protezione idraulica della Città, al fine di conoscere, promuovere e porre in essere interventi concreti di sostegno economico e di prevenzione del rischio idrogeologico”.
