Una storia che omaggia il ruolo della geisha
FASANO – Domenica 5 Gennaio alle 18.30, in un gremito salone del palazzo storico sede de “La stanza di Ulisse” in Via Forcella, è stato replicato lo spettacolo “Storia di una Geisha”, con la regia e il prezioso adattamento teatrale a cura di Teresa Cecere. Una bravissima e accattivante Simona Baccaro Perrini ha raccontato il ruolo di questa figura affascinante e misteriosa nel mondo giapponese, attraverso un emozionante monologo di circa un’ora – riscrittura del romanzo di Arthur Golden – ispirato alla vera storia della geisha Mineko Iwasaki. Lo spettatore si è ritrovato in un mondo lontano, quasi incantato, colmo di bellezza e amore, ma anche di paura e solitudine.
La psicologia e l’educazione della geisha – una donna bambina costretta in un ruolo – è descritta con dovizia di particolari e raccontata attraverso i rigidi rituali della tradizione nipponica, in un contesto intimo e delicato. Una narrazione che prende le mosse da una storia vera, appassionante e a tratti crudele, che conduce inevitabilmente lo spettatore a una riflessione sulla condizione femminile, non solo nell’antico Oriente.
Lo spettacolo verrà replicato il 6 marzo alle 21 all’Auditorium Comunale di Locorotondo, nell’ambito della rassegna teatrale “Assoli in scena… Bis”.
