Resteranno aperte le fabbriche che garantiscono il mantenimento della filiera alimentare. Stop al settore produttivo
FASANO – Una conferenza stampa convocata all’improvviso, dopo un pomeriggio di incontri con i sindacati dei lavoratori in merito all’emergenza Covid-19. Sono le 22 e 20 quando Giuseppe Conte, Presidente del Consiglio, annuncia su Facebook una diretta alle 22 e 45. In realtà la notizia era già trapelata qualche minuto prima tramite molte agenzie, seppur le decisioni prese si paventassero oramai da ore. La conferenza, con un po’ di ritardo, è cominciata alle 23.10.
«In questi giorni duri ci confrontiamo con immagini durissime che rimarranno impresse nella nostra memoria. Questi decessi non sono semplici numeri: sono persone, sono storie di famiglie che perdono gli affetti più chiari. Le misure richiedono tempo affinché possano dare i loro frutti. Sono misure severe, ne sono consapevole ma non abbiamo alternative. Dobbiamo resistere.
Oggi abbiamo deciso di compiere un altro passo. La decisione è di chiudere, nell’intero territorio nazionale, ogni attività produttiva che non sia necessaria a garantire i beni e i servizi di prima necessità, ossia quelli che sono più necessari per la tenuta dello Stato in questo momento. Resteranno aperti i supermercati (che continueranno ad essere aperti tutti i giorni), le farmacie, le parafarmacie, i servizi bancari, postali, assicurativi e finanziari. Restano garantiti i trasporti e tutte le attività connesse a quelle essensiali. Consentiamo solo lo svolgimento di lavoro in smart working e le attività produttive ritenute rilevanti per il motore della nazione. È una decisione non facile ma che ci predispone ad affrontare la fase più acuta del contagio».
L’emergenza sanitaria, ha sottolineato il premier, si sta tramutando in emergenza economica. Ma lo Stato c’è.
