Sono 12 in tutto le località pugliesi premiate
FASANO – Ancora una volta Legambiente e Touring Club Italiano assegnano a Fasano le ambite 5 Vele di Guida Blu, riconosciute alle località marine lacustri più belle, pulite e funzionali.
Nell’estate 2020, dunque, si confermano 12 i comprensori turistici pugliesi premiati con le 5 Vele. L’elenco delle località premiate è il seguente: Parco degli Ulivi – Fasano, Alto Salento Jonico – Nardò, Parco degli Ulivi – Ostuni, Alto Salento Jonico – Racale, Alto Salento Adriatico – Otranto, Alto Salento Adriatico – Vernole (Le), Parco degli Ulivi – Monopoli, Parco degli Ulivi – Carovigno, Alto Salento Jonico – Gallipoli, Alto Salento Adriatico – Melendugno, Alto Salento Jonico – Porto Cesareo, Parco degli Ulivi – Polignano a Mare.
I parametri presi in considerazione per l’assegnazione delle vele sono la qualità delle acque di balneazione, l’efficacia della raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti, la gestione delle risorse idriche, la presenza di aree pedonali, l’efficienza dei servizi, la valorizzazione del paesaggio e delle produzioni locali.
Gli indicatori considerati sono più di cento, provenienti da fonti come l’Istituto nazionale di statistica, l’Associazione Nazionale Comuni Italiani, la Camera di commercio, industria, artigianato e agricoltura, il Ministero della Salute, l’Enel e l’Agenzia nazionale del turismo.
