In replica stasera e domani sera
FASANO – C’è Gerry, il sogno di un ragazzo come tanti, la determinazione nel voler inseguire le sue passioni. E poi c’è Domenico, il grande Domenico Modugno e la sua vita fatta in piccoli pezzi, quei pezzi di un indimenticabile vissuto che ha accompagnato per tanti anni la storia del nostro Paese (e che continua a farlo). Sullo sfondo del Teatro Sociale di Fasano, a completare il quadro di questa curiosa commedia semiseria, c’è l’altro Domenico, meglio conosciuto in città e dagli amici come “Demy”: lui e la sua chitarra, le note di una musica senza tempo e le parole di artisti la cui gloria si tramanda nei decenni e fatica a cadere nel dimenticatoio.
Già, perché prima la musica era un’altra cosa, le hit da ricordare erano altre, non c’erano i like, i tormentoni, le meteore di una breve notte estiva e poi a settembre di ogni anno, il nulla più assoluto. Prima, assicura Gerry Moio dal palco, la musica aveva un altro sapore, i sentimenti erano diversi, tutto aveva un senso negli anni 50 e 60. Tutto, qualsiasi cosa, sopratutto la strada per raggiungere il successo. La stessa strada percorsa da Domenico Modugno che, partito da una terra difficile – la nostra, la Puglia – ha dovuto scontrarsi con il caso e con la fortuna, con cambi inaspettati di rotta, per poi “volare nel cielo infinito”.
Proprio lui, il noto “cantattore”, colui che ha portato l’Italia nel mondo, è il protagonista del “Il Sogno di Domenico” che Gerry Moio e Demy Ditano hanno magistralmente portato in scena ieri sera (con replica prevista per stasera e domani sera) dietro l’attenta regia di Mimmo Capozzi. Un racconto di uomini con il desiderio di volare, aneddoti, metafore, spunti divertenti e riflessivi. Non una vera e propria biografia, ma un viaggio attraverso musica, parole e sentimenti.
Altro non vorremmo svelarvi, ma una cosa sicuramente sì: se siete innamorati di Domenico Modugno e dei sogni, ma nessuno vi ha mai raccontato nulla né del primo né dei secondi, stasera e domani sera avete già un valido motivo per recarvi a teatro!
