Si è rinnovato ieri l’appuntamento inaugurante la stagione della vendemmia
FASANO – La tradizionale “Festa dell’uva”, giunta quest’anno all’ottava edizione, è stata un successo. Come ogni anno, in piena vendemmia e al termine di un’estate ricca di eventi anche per la frazione collinare, si è rinnovato l’evento, organizzato dall’Associazione Pro Selva.
A partire dalle ore 17.00 di ieri pomeriggio (domenica 15 settembre) una sfilata di sette carretti, addobbati con gli strumenti per la vendemmia e con tanti tralci d’uva locale, ha percorso viale Toledo. Un rito, quello della vendemmia, che si rinnova ogni anno nelle nostre zone sul finire della stagione estiva e che quest’anno ha dato ottimi frutti, nonostante l’incessante maltempo dei mesi precedenti la bella stagione.
L’evento ha visto il patrocinio del comune di Fasano e la collaborazione dei Timpanisti Fajanensis, che hanno aperto il corteo col rullo dei propri tamburi, oltre che di numerose associazioni locali come l’azienda agricola Lisi, i bar posti in viale Toledo ed altre aziende agricole del territorio silvano.
La sfilata dei carri è giunta nell’ampio spiazzo della Casina Municipale dove la festa è proseguita con degustazioni di prodotti tipici locali come taralli al vino, friselle, provolone e focaccia all’uva, balli popolari e dimostrazioni pratiche come la pigiatura e la preparazione del mosto d’uva.
Numerosa la gente accorsa per assistere all’evento. Da segnalare anche la presenza di un nutrito gruppo di turisti inglesi, incuriositi dai riti nostrani propiziatori per una buona vendemmia e l’inizio della stagione autunnale. Insomma, una “Festa dell’uva” che anche quest’anno non ha tradito le aspettative e che chiude definitivamente l’estate silvana.
